It is promoted by Exit (the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society), which campaigns for a change in British law to promote individual patient choice, but prioritizes research into self-deliverance, self-euthanasia, to empower people who will not live long enough to see the law changed. People who, in the absence of lawful assistance, seek peaceful and dignified methods of self-euthanasia within the law.
