Welcome to Fast Access - possibly the world's largest resource of original material on voluntary euthanasia, assisted suicide, self-deliverance, living wills (advance declarations to enable you to refuse unwanted life-prolonging treatment) and related death and dying subject matter. Many groups campaign for legal change. (Bills for voluntary euthanasia have been proposed since 1935.) Such laws, if passed, will help future generations. But what about people living NOW? People facing an unknown future and without the means to choose the time and manner of their dying. EXIT's RESEARCH HELPS PEOPLE NOW. This site contains hundreds of pages of material explaining the arguments for and against euthanasia. It is promoted by Exit (the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society), which campaigns for a change in British law to promote individual patient choice, but prioritizes research into self-deliverance, self-euthanasia, to empower people who will not live long enough to see the law changed. People who, in the absence of lawful assistance, seek peaceful and dignified methods of self-euthanasia within the law. You can also find information or links on here to our authoritative works on self-deliverance, including Departing Drugs, Beyond Final Exit, Five Last Acts II and The Exit Path. editions of our books: The Exit Path is the largest resource in
print. Full coverage of NITROGEN, HELIUM,
COMPRESSIONS, DRUGS, REFUSAL OF FOOD AND DRINK AND
'FRINGE' METHODS. Read the ExitEuthanasia
Blog for new information. Exit is a world leader in research and euthanasia-related information. We run with minimal resources and are only able to continue by means of legacies, donations and memberships. If you support our aims, you might want to consider supporting us. There are many v.e. campaign groups.
