It was produced by Exit (the original Exit, also called the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society), which agrees that a change in the law is desirable to promote and protect individual patient choice; and prioritizes research into self-deliverance, self-euthanasia, to empower people who will not live long enough to see the law changed. People who, in the absence of lawful assistance, seek peaceful and dignified methods of self-euthanasia within the law.
